Thursday Quilting

Using their gifts and talents to bring joy to others, these ladies invest their time in what matters.  Clear plastic containers and recycled boxes line the quilting closet at the church. Each carefully filled with color sorted fabrics that have been donated. Under the window lays a rolled bundle of batting. The quilting fabric rack sits at the back of the sewing room. Where many a beautiful piece has been lovingly crafted. Each six months this group produce roughly 60 quilts donate.

Our quilters are amazing. They work hard year round producing colorful original heartwarming pieces. These comforting comforter are distributed all over the United States. Whether locally or far away they are disturbed to those in need (homeless, women's shelters, hospitals, victims natural disasters or where ever the need presence itself). 

Reducing Waste & Sewing Love

All of the beautifully crafted quilts have been constructed with donated fabrics. Loving divided by colors, gathered, cut, pinned, stitched, sandwiched, tied and binded together. The results are lovely new works of art design to bring warmth and comfort to those in greatest need. 


And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
